Reading Hospital and Medical Center

Illuminated Maps & Locator Kiosks

While working with Gregory at Gregory Blue & Associates, Lindsay developed this series of information graphics using his style sheets and a myriad hospital-provided information.

Illuminated Directories:

A closer look:

This project is a part of the Wayfinding effort Gregory Blue & Associates created for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. These directory panels and mapping kiosks will make it more intuitive for one to navigate the hospital campus.

Now that there was a full map directory system, the goal was to translate that navigation experience into a touch screen kiosk that prints directions to your destination within the campus.

Locator Brand:

We needed a brand for this new way of navigating the hospital, something to be seen as traveling throughout the hospital, thus remembered as a resource location.

Locator Screens:

Keeping within the manufacturer's standards was key, but the result was easy to read and that's a golden key.

Lindsay created all the maps needed to generate a the navigation software and fabricate the illuminated directories. That was just a small piece of a mach larger wayfinding program. To see more Wayfinding programs by Gregory Blue + Associates visit gregoryblue.com.
